25 Easy and Delicious Holiday Breakfast Ideas.
One of my very favourite things about the Christmas Day is the big family breakfast that takes place at our house every Christmas morning.
My brother and his wife are always with us, my parents are here, and my Aunt often joins us for the holidays too. Count in my two boys, and my husband and me, and there’s always 8 or 9 of us around the breakfast table on Christmas morning.
There’s something so special and magical about that meal. I just love sitting together and enjoying a traditional holiday breakfast together after all the build up to Christmas and a fun morning of celebrating and exchanging gifts.
Because I’m always the cook on Christmas morning, I’m constantly on look-out for easy dishes that I can prepare ahead of time. This means I’m not in the kitchen while everyone else is unwrapping gifts around the tree. Anything that I can prepare ahead of time, to pop into the oven on Christmas morning is a bonus!
I also love to have a dish or two that’s made especially with the kids in mind.
In true holiday fashion, I’ve been scouring the internet looking for new Christmas breakfast ideas that look easy and delicious! I’ve found a bunch that I’d love to try, and I thought I’d share them with you along with a few of my own personal favourites.
Maybe some of these will become new family favourites at your Christmas breakfast table this year!
